STOVE TOP INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a medium saucepan, heat 1¾ cups water, ¼ cup milk, 1 Tbsp margarine butter (Optional). Add contents of package and bring to a boil.

2. Stir. Reduce heat and simmer COVERED 7 minutes or until rice is tender.

3. Let stand at least 2 minutes, Stir, serve & enjoy.

 

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In 2-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine 2 cups water, ¼ cup milk 1 tablespoon butter or margarine (optional) and contents of package.

2. Microwave uncovered on HIGH for about 12 minutes**, stirring once halfway through cooking, until rice is tender.

3. Stir and Serve. Sauce will thicken upon standing

Caution: bowl will be hot.
