1. In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups water and 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine to a boil; reduce heat to MEDIUM.

2. Slowly stir in pasta. Boil uncovered for 12-14 minutes, stirring frequently. Most of the water should be absorbed.

3. Stir in ⅔ cup milk and seasoning sauce mix pouch. Return to a boil. Boil uncovered for 1-2 minutes or until pasta is tender.

4. Sauce will be thin. Let stand 3-5 minutes to thicken. Stir and serve.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS

In a 2-quart microwaveable dish, combine 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and pasta: Microwave uncovered on HIGH (100%) for 10 minutes or until boiling. Stir. Microwave on HIGH for 3-5 minutes. Most of the water will be absorbed. Slowly stir in ⅔ cup milk and seasoning sauce mix pouch. Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, Stir occasionally. Sauce will be thin; stir and let stand uncovered 3-5 minutes to thicken. Stir and serve.
